- What does Brioodev actually do?
- Brioodev is an AI development agency. We build three things: full-stack AI SaaS products (think SpecIQ — multi-tenant, auth, billing, AI integration), business automation systems (Zoho, Zapier, Make, n8n, custom code), and high-performance web products on Next.js. Every engagement is founder-led — Nikshit Sehgal writes the code, makes the architectural calls, and ships the work himself.
- How much does a typical project cost?
- Each engagement is scoped individually — no packages, no retainers. AI SaaS v1 builds typically land in the mid-five to low-six-figure USD range. Business automation projects sit in the low-to-mid four-figure range. Web product builds vary widely depending on integrations and CMS choice. You receive a written scope document with line-item pricing before any work begins.
- How long do projects take?
- AI SaaS v1: 6 to 12 weeks. Business automation: 2 to 6 weeks for a focused workflow, 6 to 10 weeks for multi-system integrations. Web products: 3 to 8 weeks for marketing sites with CMS, longer for production web products with auth and dashboards. Most projects launch in 4 to 12 weeks end-to-end.
- Who owns the code and the systems you build?
- You do. You own the source code, the cloud accounts, the secrets, the infrastructure, and every artefact we produce. Brioodev does not retain rights, does not licence anything back, and does not lock you into a maintenance relationship. The repository, the Vercel project, the Stripe account, the Zoho workspace — they're yours from day one.
- Where are you based, and do you work internationally?
- Brioodev is remote-first and operates globally. Existing clients are based across UAE, India, USA, and UK. Communication is async-friendly with weekly synchronous syncs and deep-work overlap windows scheduled to your time zone.
- Do you sign NDAs and engagement agreements?
- Standard practice. Mutual NDAs are signed before any commercially sensitive discovery work. Every project is covered by a written engagement agreement covering scope, IP, payment terms, and post-launch support. The two confidential case studies on this site are anonymised at the client's explicit request.
- Why Next.js? Can you use a different stack?
- Default stack is Next.js + Node.js + PostgreSQL + Vercel because we ship faster on it and the production track record is strong. We'll deviate when a project genuinely requires it (Python backend for ML workloads, alternative cloud for compliance reasons), but we'll tell you up-front when a stack choice will cost you weeks of velocity.
- What's NOT in scope for a Brioodev engagement?
- We don't run paid acquisition, don't handle ongoing customer support, don't provide creative branding from scratch (we work alongside a designer if you have one), don't take on projects where the core problem is fundamentally unvalidated, and don't accept revenue-share or equity-only deals. Validation comes first, build comes after.
